Peck Faces the Dark is the 4th episode of Season 6.
Summary[]
Peck develops nyctophobia (a fear of darkness) after watching a scary movie with Sheriff Callie, but when she and Kwazii get themselves trapped in a dark cave later, Peck must overcome his fear to save them.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Peck waving his best friend Toby goodbye, just as the latter finished helping the former get ready for the late night movie that the former will be watching with Sheriff Callie at the Disney Junior Town Movie Theater that night. Toby then asks one last time if Peck is sure that he (Peck) can handle it, which Peck answers that he will be fine.
At the Disney Junior Town Movie Theater, Sheriff Callie is seen looking around, waiting for her deputy's arrival. Once Peck arrives, the two enter the building, with the sheriff asking Peck one last time if he really wants to watch the movie, especially since it is a horror movie. Peck assures her that he is the deputy, he has to be brave, and being able to watch a scary movie is a perfect practice. Unfortunately, the start of the horror movie winds up making Peck so frightened and terrified, that he covered his eyes for the rest of the film.
Once they returned to Nice and Friendly Corners, Peck shivered and trembled just as Toby asks him what is wrong, startling the frightened deputy. Peck then heaves a sigh of relief when he realises that what startled him is just Toby. Toby then asks what is wrong, which Peck answers that the horror movie is what is wrong, it made him (Peck) scared of the dark.
