Summary[]
Catboy helps Luna Girl with her moth fairy magic when she is having trouble controlling them, and before Shuriki tries to take it away from her along with his Maruvian magic.
Plot[]
The episode begins in the Moonbeams’ house, where an explosion of purple mist bursts out of the window of Luna Girl’s bedroom. She and her moths let out coughs after the mist cleared, and it looked like Luna was trying to practice her moth fairy magic after showing her parents it, but she was having trouble controlling it. Looking down at her palms that had purple mist and butterflies swirling around, Luna decides to try again one more time while her moths took cover as she concentrated on a feather duster and tries to lift it with her magic, and as she hoped, it was working... but only for a second. Luna lets out a heavy sigh and asks herself why she’d had to be born with her birthmother’s magic as her moths came out to comfort her and assure her that she’ll get it right, but Luna wasn’t sure if she will but hopes that her moths were right.
Meanwhile in Avalor, unknown to Luna and her moths, they were being spied on by Shuriki and her gang of Avalor baddies.
